CRMUG UK Meeting November 14th in Reading

We’re back at Microsoft Reading for our next meeting on 14th November. Registration is open, so sign up today at!

Our topic for the meeting is ‘awareness of your CRM system’ so includes topics such as: keeping abreast of industry and regulatory changes that affect your CRM, updates that are coming to the platform, and keeping an eye on how your users are using the system.

In particular, we have several sessions on the upcoming GDPR data protection regulation changes coming in May 2018.  If you have anything to do with data protection in your organisation (that includes being a CRM admin!) then you don’t want to miss it.  Our GDPR experts will also be on hand to answer questions during and after the sessions on the day.

Again, check the meeting registration page on for further agenda information.

The URL for this page will be easy to remember as CRMUG.UK/20171114 (simply this site/event date as yyyymmdd.)  We use this format so that each event has a placeholder page you can easily find.

Social Evening

As is tradition now, we also have a social evening the night before the meeting in Reading.  It’s a great opportunity to meet and catch-up with your peers in a social environment outside of the meeting the next day.  And it sure beats eating on your own if you’re staying in a hotel in Reading the night before the meeting!

If you’d like to come along, click the following to buy a ticket for the dinner.  Tickets are £15 which covers the cost of dinner.  Seats are limited so get yours today!

CRMUG UK Birmingham September Meeting

It’s not too late to register for the next Birmingham CRMUG UK meeting on 13th September 2017!

We have two great speakers lined up plus plenty of time to meet other people working with Dynamics 365 / CRM in the Midlands, plus there’s complimentary food and drinks! What’s not to like?

Our first speaker is Sophie Loor, who works at the Legal Ombudsman in Birmingham. Sophie has been working with CRM for many years and is kindly sharing her experience of what works when trying to get users to adopt a new system (or keep using an existing one!)

Our second speaker is none other than the chair of CRMUG UK, Sarah Critchley.  Sarah, a Microsoft MVP for Dynamics business solutions, will run through some of the key features of the upcoming 9.0 release for Dynamics 365 (previously known as the ‘July’ release.)  This update introduces some important changes and new functionality and Sarah is hoping to get the go-ahead from Microsoft to show us some of it live – we can’t wait!

This meeting is free to attend and is open to anyone who uses Dynamics 365 or Dynamics CRM.

Registration is still open for this meeting – visit the event page at, or if you prefer, register on

Once again, the great people at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce are hosting us.  They are located at:

Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce
75 Harborne Road
B15 3DH

There is ample car parking on site, or the Chamber of Commerce is only a short walk (weather permitting) from the city centre, bus and train stations.

We look forward to seeing you there!
